Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a store associate with leadership experience to open/close the store when management is not present, manage cash and ensure floors are ready for business. The role requires English fluency and basic inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Liaise between management and team; communicate tasks when management is not present; report disciplinary issues and customer complaints.
• Maintain store appearance, inventory accuracy, pricing, signage, and basic department displays; assist with backroom and vendor processes.
• Assist with pricing tasks and local regulatory compliance; support bookkeeping activities; ensure clean and orderly store conditions.
• Assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
