Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the day. You will engage customers, process refunds, and maintain accurate pricing and signage while supporting inventory and merchandising.

English fluency is required; leadership experience is preferred, and PTCB certification or a pharmacy license is a plus for advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
