Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate who will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and register duties, and ensure a welcoming customer experience. You will engage customers, assist with products and services, and support inventory and pricing tasks across departments.

The role requires at least one year of leadership or retail experience and fluency in English; PTCB certification or pharmacy license may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys, opening/closing without management as necessary, and assisting with vendor deliveries.
