Responsibilities include staffing, training, disciplinary actions, and promoting a safe work environment. Candidates should have strong communication, conflict resolution, and financial analysis skills, plus at least one year of management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store departments and customer service.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to guide decisions.
• Commitment to safety and training of team members.

Responsabilités

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career development and succession planning for team members.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and make recommendations on discharge.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales, and control shrink for the department.
• Model exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
• Lead Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and conversations.
• Mentor team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
