Meijer is seeking a store leadership role in Ohio to drive customer service, staffing, and sales goals. You will manage staffing, coach team members, and ensure adherence to Meijer standards while maintaining a safe, engaging store environment.

The role emphasizes developing talent, managing day-to-day operations, and delivering strong store performance through effective leadership and communication.

Qualificações

• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Responsible for staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development for team members, and involvement in promotion decisions.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches the team to exceed customer service and sales goals and Meijer standards.
• Ensures the team is trained in all job aspects and has completed required training.
• Spends most time in-store communicating with customers and team members to ensure exceptional service.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Reliable and consistent attendance is required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
