Job summary

S and G stores is seeking a dependable retail associate to support store operations, assist customers, and maintain selling floor standards. You will help ensure policy compliance, manage transactions with accuracy, and support merchandising initiatives across the store.

Ideal candidates will have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and be available for weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience / Customer Service experience required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Comfortable performing routine physical tasks (climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling).
• Available for weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge and greet all customers entering the store.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Process cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Implement merchandising and marketing programs with proper plan-o-gram signs.
• Keep foodservice products fresh by rotating stock and removing out-of-date items.
• Monitor store activities to ensure proper transactions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies for safety of customers and employees.
• Unload trucks for restocking the store.
