Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in leadership’s absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired (multilingual)
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and support programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate buy online/ship to store, store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns and exchanges with accurate refunds and proper processing.
• Ensure invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to the posted work schedule.
