Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations. The role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading a team in exceptional customer service, supervising telephony and order processing, handling returns and exchanges, and ensuring accurate invoicing and merchandising

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required for leading the store team and delivering excellent customer service.
• Fluency in multiple languages is encouraged to assist a diverse customer base.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is highly valued.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair helps in assisting customers effectively.
• Possession or ability to obtain RSS certification is required; ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee telephone handling and sales programs, ensuring timely processing of orders and transfers.
• Manage returns, refunds, and exchanges, and ensure proper invoicing of merchandise.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to store schedules and opening/closing duties.
• Support shift management duties in absence of store leadership.
