Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, store appearance, and operations. This role includes shift management in the manager's absence, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading a team to deliver excellent customer service, handling buy online/ship to store, returns, and invoicing, and ensuring procedures are followed for daily operations and end-of-day closings.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer telephone according to policy and handle inquiries.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Process special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Handle returns and refunds, ensure proper invoicing and correct payment methods.
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed.
• Ensure staff clock in/out as scheduled and follow company policy; manage opening/closing duties.
• Perform day end procedures, verify money/deposits, and secure the store and deliveries.
