Job summary

Michaels Stores in Towson, MD seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach teammates on selling behaviors, and ensure brand standards, SOP compliance, and efficient day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS/Self-Checkout accuracy, overseeing the Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS and Same-Day Delivery, and promoting the Loyalty

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and customer experience, ensuring brand standards.
• Coach team on selling behaviors and KPI achievement.
• Oversee front-end, service, and POS/Self-Checkout accuracy.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and MCC/Extend services.
• Support BOPIS and Same Day Delivery processes.
• Assist Custom Framing operations where applicable.
