Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager in Bowie, MD to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive customer experience, brand standards, and store operations. You will coach teams, manage front-end and service delivery, and ensure execution of SOPs, safety, and performance standards.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS and Self-Checkout supervision, loyalty program enrollment, omni-channel fulfillment, and supporting framing, balloons, and Knit & Sew operations while developing

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Strong customer-focused approach and leadership behavior.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations and ensure SOP compliance.
• Coach and develop associates for customer experience and sales goals.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store conditions.
• Manage POS and Self-Checkout operations and support omni-channel fulfillment.
• Oversee in-store programs (balloons, parties, Knit & Sew Shop, framing).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and protection plan offerings.
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction initiatives.
