Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Prattville, AL store to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive strong sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. The role oversees front-end operations, drives KPI achievement, and coaches team members daily to sustain store standards and brand integrity.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS accuracy, and managing in-store programs, with a focus on omni-channel service and customer loyalty enrollment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach best-in-class Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties, loyalty enrollment).
• Drive sales and operational excellence in knit & sew shop and other departments, including omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
