Job summary

Michaels in Huntsville-Madison, AL seeks a Sales Manager to lead front-end and service operations, driving selling behaviors and strong KPI results through coaching and daily execution.

You will oversee SOP compliance, POS usage, loyalty enrollment, and omni-channel fulfillment while developing team talent and maintaining asset protection in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer focus and 3+ years of retail leadership required.

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store outcomes.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage, supporting smooth transactions.
• Oversee events including balloons, birthday parties, and in-store programs.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards enrollment to drive retention and visits.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and customer adoption of protection plans.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in knit & sew shop and Cut Bar.
• Ensure accurate BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations with customer consultations.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
