Job summary

AEO is seeking a full-time Sales Leader to support the Store Leadership Team, lead Leader on Duty shifts, and deliver a stellar guest experience. You will drive daily store operations, train, motivate and celebrate associates, and embody our REAL self at work.

You will maximize sales by boosting guest loyalty and store productivity, recruit and develop talent, coach performance, and ensure visual standards are met. You will also maintain safety and asset protection while representing AE values.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is preferred and required to lead a store team effectively.
• Strong focus on guest experience and KPI delivery.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop associates to meet business needs.
• Experience coaching and giving real-time feedback to drive performance.
• Knowledge of visual standards and in-store operations to ensure brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead LOD (Leader on Duty) shifts and drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity.
• Motivate and coach the team to uphold AE's service standards on the Salesfloor and in the fitting room.
• Recruit, hire and train strong talent to staff the store according to business needs.
• Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate performance to boost engagement.
• Execute daily visual and operational procedures, including merchandising moves and shipment processing to keep the store guest-ready.
• Maintain store safety and asset protection standards and adhere to company policies.
