Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Lead in Chattanooga to drive store results by building authentic team and customer relationships, connecting customers with product, and creating memorable experiences. This hourly role partners with store operations to deliver service excellence, execute events, and maintain merchandise presentation.

You will greet customers, process transactions, support associate learning, and contribute to omnichannel initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building team, customer, and community relationships.
• Greet, engage, and assist customers with personalized service.
• Process transactions accurately and handle inquiries professionally.
• Share daily goals, mentor colleagues, and support onboarding and training.
• Leverage selling tools and digital devices to provide omnichannel experiences and discuss inventory and product features.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies, promotions, and store events to inform the team.
• Foster a positive store culture and recognize associate achievements.
• Keep selling areas attractive and stock replenished, aligned with visual standards.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection in designated areas with safety and security adherence.
