Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Sales Manager at our Westminster, CO location. You will lead front-end and service operations, coach a high-performing team, and drive customer experience and selling behaviors to meet KPIs.

You will also oversee in-store programs, POS usage, and omni-channel services, including BOPIS and delivery, while promoting loyalty enrollment. In this role, you will provide MOD coverage, ensure policy compliance, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to coach selling behaviors and customer experience.
Strong understanding of SOPs and store policies.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading SOP compliance and company programs.
Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems during transactions.
Oversee events and in-store programs (e.g., birthday parties, loyalty enrollment).
Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
Train and develop team through structured onboarding and ongoing coaching.
