Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing up transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Supporting management with any tasks requested per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
