Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity to take a lead role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices during transactions
• Bagging merchandise efficiently
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely ringing, thanking, and inviting customers to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting with merchandising and stock management
• Supporting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Assisting with loss prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty incidents, and following operational policies
