Job Description

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity to lead the way.

Responsibilities

1. Process freight shipments.
2. Assist with price changes and markdowns.
3. Balance registers according to company policy.
4. Call out prices during transactions.
5. Bag merchandise efficiently.
6. Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions correctly.
7. Obtain management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed.
8. Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep.
9. Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return.
10. Follow all safety procedures.
11. Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag.
12. Assist management with merchandising and stock management.
13. Explain exchange and refund policies to customers.
14. Assist with loss prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies.
