Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, offering opportunities for leadership and career development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and in accordance with company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping duties
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely ringing, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with various tasks as requested
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Participating in loss prevention efforts, including theft prevention and reporting incidents
