Job summary

Walgreens in Strasburg, VA is seeking a Store Manager to oversee both retail and pharmacy operations, elevate the customer experience, and lead a team to achieve sales and service goals.

You will supervise shifts, manage inventory, analytics, and staff development while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and Pharmacy technician registration as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members and develops action plans for improvement.
• Supervises operation of the store and pharmacy, including scheduling team members and handling bookkeeping.
• Analyzes financial and performance data and identifies opportunities to increase sales and control costs.
• Identifies sales opportunities and manages inventory levels to balance stock and sell-through.
• Promotes teamwork and provides coaching and performance feedback to staff.
