Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead a Walgreen store and its pharmacy, driving sales, profitability and guest experience. You will supervise daily operations, merchandising, staffing, inventory, and compliance across retail and pharmacy functions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with retail management experience or a high school diploma with extended management experience, plus pharmacy technician registration as needed by state law. A flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years retail management experience, or HS Diploma with 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant OR licensed RPh as soon as possible per state requirements (WA example).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations including opening/closing and scheduling.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, stock levels and loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with laws, company policies and safety standards; supervise staff performance and training.
• Develop and coach team members; support district management with performance reviews and staffing decisions.
