Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of the store and pharmacy, driving sales, optimizing merchandising, protecting assets, and leading a team to deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience.

The role requires strong leadership in retail management, supervision of staff, scheduling, inventory control, and compliance with company policies and regulations. Travel and flexible hours may be required to support store performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations including scheduling and budgeting.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Develop and coach store team to deliver a superior customer and patient experience.
