Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operation of the Walgreens store and pharmacy, driving sales, profitability, and a distinctive customer and patient experience. The role includes supervision of staff, budgeting, inventory control, and compliance with applicable laws.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and retail management experience, plus pharmacy technician licensure as required by state law. Flexibility for extended days and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of retail management experience.
Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager start date.

Responsibilities

Oversees store and pharmacy operations, including scheduling and task delegation.
Monitors financials and performance data to increase sales and control costs.
Manages inventory and merchandising, including stock, pricing, and promotions.
Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; supports training and development of team members.
