Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a Walgreens store and pharmacy, driving sales, profitability and an outstanding customer and patient experience. You will hire, train, and develop team members, supervise merchandising, inventory, and store safety, and ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with retail management experience or a high school diploma with substantial management experience, plus pharmacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or high school diploma with 5 years retail management
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or pharmacist license/certification timelines
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations, shifts, scheduling, and task delegation
• Manages merchandising, stock, and inventory to avoid stockouts/overstock
• Analyzes financial performance and drives sales growth
• Ensures compliance with policies and laws; maintains safety
• Develops team through hiring, training, and performance management
• Ensures customer experience is distinctive and service-oriented
