Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store and pharmacy operations, aiming to improve sales, profitability, and customer experience. You will supervise staffing, merchandising, inventory, and compliance, while delivering exceptional service to customers and patients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with retail management experience (or equivalent) and a flexible schedule. Salary ranges from $56,500 to $125,000 per year, depending on geography and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations including opening/closing, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Monitor customer service and coach team members to deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience.
• Manage merchandising, inventory, and pricing, including stock levels, receiving, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies, and address issues with Human Resources as appropriate.
