Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Chicago South Loop is seeking a strong manager to lead a diverse hourly team, including Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew and Delivery Drivers. You will drive hospitality, quality and guest service, while building a positive store culture and sales focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Available to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thu–Sun.
• Benevolent leadership with a player-coach approach to daily management.
• Innate hospitality and exceptional guest service abilities.
• Strong proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams and ATS experience.
• Familiarity with using commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Delivery Drivers).
• Lead service components: food quality, customer service, friendliness, store cleanliness.
• Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, service and sales growth.
• Manage and audit inventory to maintain proper controls.
• Create and execute local marketing drops.
• Create and drive in-store recognition programs/contests.
