Job summary

Burlington stores, a leading off-price retailer, are seeking an Operations Service Manager in Lexington, KY. You will lead store operations, coach a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, and ensure exceptional service and professionalism while aligning with company core values.

You’ll drive efficiency, manage receiving and inventory accuracy, and partner with store leadership to optimize staffing, training, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a multi-unit retail organization.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance and safeguarding company funds and property.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to ensure customer service expectations and smooth register flow.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Oversee the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks; partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD); set leadership example for customers and associates, driving store results.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
