Job summary

Costello's Ace Hardware in the United States is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented Key Holder to open and close the store and support daily operations. You will help manage inventory, assist customers, and maintain store presentation to reflect the Costello's standard.

Responsibilities include training staff, handling cash, overseeing security, and ensuring safety and policy compliance across all shifts. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and welcomed to join our team.

Qualifications

• Retail Sales experience 1 year (Preferred).
• Retail Math experience 1 year (Preferred).
• Leadership experience 1 year (Preferred).
• Bi-lingual (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Open and close registers.
• Count money and make bank deposits while manager on duty.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention procedures.
• Update store management on progress of store and staff.
• Review daily Walk Every Aisle Daily (W.E.A.D.) and adjust displays.
• Ensure receiving is completed in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Participate in daily huddle meetings.
• Know the proper way to answer the telephone.
