Costello's Ace Hardware in Bellmore, NY is seeking a Key Holder to lead the team, deliver exceptional customer service, and manage daily operations when scheduled as the manager on duty.

You will train peers, oversee openings and closings, protect assets, and uphold store standards while preparing for an assistant manager role. This role integrates inventory oversight with hands-on customer engagement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use the E.C.E.T. process with every customer interaction.
• Be customer ready on the sales floor and train peers.
• Lead in-store operations and assist in openings/closings.
• Protect assets and follow loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain store standards and merchandising presentation.
• Greet customers, answer phones, and support inventory control.
• Coach staff on inventory management best practices.
• Train visual merchandiser(s) in planogram updates.
• Review daily appearance of displays and end caps.
• Monitor transfers and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare the store for manager on duty shifts and duties.
