Job summary

Five Below in Memphis is seeking a store leader to oversee daily operations and coach crew to deliver WOW customer service. The role includes opening/closing the store, cash handling, and ensuring merchandise is accurately stocked.

You will train associates, drive sales, monitor performance, and partner with the leadership team to maintain store standards. Previous retail management and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Train crew on customer service experience and ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and maintain customer service.
• Assist with stock receiving and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping.
