Job summary

J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking a Store Operations Manager to optimize store systems, processes, and help desk leadership across the fleet. This on-site role focuses on reducing friction, improving operational efficiency, and overseeing supply and packaging programs in a high-volume retail environment.

• 5+ years of experience in retail store operations.
• Proven track record improving store processes.
• Experience leading teams and managing vendors.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify frictions in store workflows and pilot improvements.
• Own the store systems enhancement roadmap with IT.
• Define in-store hardware strategy and lifecycle planning.
• Lead Retail Help Desk across Levels 1 and 2 and manage vendors.
• Own escalation path and drive root-cause fixes across the fleet.
• Standardize policy docs and write store communications.
• Manage supplies, packaging vendors, and inventory health.
• Forecast budgets and seasonally manage store orders.
• Collaborate with AP, Accounting, Procurement on invoices and cost savings.
• Provide recurring and ad-hoc reporting with field leadership.
