Job summary

Holiday Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager in Draper, UT to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure top-notch customer service. This role involves cash handling, sales reporting, and inventory management with a focus on safety and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have retail and training experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead a team across a Sunday–Saturday schedule while maintaining high service standards in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Retail experience preferred
• Training experience preferred
• Ability to open and close stores on a Sunday–Saturday schedule
• Customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems
• Basic math and computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team to complete tasks
• Customer- and employee-focused mindset
• Ability to train staff on products in-store
• Remain composed with upset customers and adapt to business needs
• Must have a safe driving record and Utah driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
