Holiday Oil Company is a family-owned convenience store chain serving Utah for 60 years with over 77 stores, seeking an Assistant Manager in Draper to support daily operations and leadership. You will supervise staff, manage cash and inventory, and ensure superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, compliance with safety and policies, and the ability to adapt to scheduling and operational demands across a multi-store setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Training experience is preferred.
• Must be able to open and close stores on a Sunday through Saturday schedule.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• Ability to lead and work with the team to get tasks done.
• Must have a safe driving record and be willing to under MVR monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and assist in managing staff and inventory. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Retail experience desired
• Training experience preferred
• Must be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS
• Basic math and computer skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage skills and work with the team to accomplish tasks.

• Must be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver's License
