Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will develop relationships with customers, rent units, process payments, and perform daily operational tasks.

The role emphasizes customer service and basic property maintenance, requires Saturday availability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers daytime hours, potential Sundays off, paid time off, 401(k) match,

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays (and Sundays at some locations).
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics; rent units and manage the leasing process.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and unit showings.
• Process payments using POS, complete daily deposits, and perform courtesy calls for late payments.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning units, mopping, sweeping, and basic repairs.
