Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Market Manager to lead daily store operations, mentor the team, and uphold food safety and hospitality standards. You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and drive performance across guest experience, merchandising, and safety.

This role emphasizes people leadership, scheduling, oversight of cash and inventory, and collaboration with regional teams to support promotions and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management in retail, food service, or hospitality.
• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop store team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, and staffing levels to meet business demands.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and allergen controls are followed at all times.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure store environment for guests and associates.
• Monitor KPIs (sales, waste, inventory accuracy) and implement improvement actions.
• Coordinate with regional and corporate teams for promotions and community initiatives.
