Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math operations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience with IBM cash register to generate reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Understanding of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and termination processes including legal compliance.
• Familiarity with cash, facility and safety control policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Make recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; conduct meetings.
• Open and close the store on schedule.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and inventory to identify trends.
• Manage stock replenishment and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership.
• Keep the store clean, safe and well organized.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and deadlines.
