Dollar General Corporation seeks a Store Manager to lead all store operations, including staffing, training, merchandising, and customer service. You will ensure proper scheduling, verify cash procedures, and maintain safety and security standards while driving sales and controlling expenses.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.

Responsabilidades

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees and ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training for employees; conducts performance evaluations and counseling as needed.
• Makes recommendations on employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and safety initiatives.
• Ensures the store is opened and closed as scheduled and remains properly staffed.
• Monitors operating statements to identify trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.
• Manages stock levels and ordering to meet in-stock targets; reviews weekly plans.
