Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You’ll help with opening/closing, merchandise flow, and daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and reliable supervision of associates. This part-time position offers exposure to corporate directives, loss prevention, and store presentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and reading, interpreting, and explaining operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
