Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will help supervise associates, maintain stockrooms, and ensure standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership in a part-time setting, with responsibilities across opening/closing tasks, compliance, and daily communications from corporate directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and ensure store aesthetics.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll records and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked areas and secure assets.
