Job summary

Walmart in Hastings, MI is seeking a dynamic store leader. You will coach and develop teams, teach training, listen to associates, and drive store operations using technology, merchandising, and change initiatives to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will manage budget, drive sales, optimize inventory, and implement process improvements to reduce shrink and grow profit. The role requires hiring, mentoring, and building a culture of belonging while meeting company standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives store performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and managing expenses within the designated store area.
• Ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved, promote a culture of belonging and recruit and develop qualified associates.
