Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to continuously lift material up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting of cases of alcohol up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service by building a loyal customer base and enhancing NH Liquor Commission reputation.
• Acts as a store manager in a low volume retail environment and supervises store personnel up to Retail Salesperson III level.
• In large volume stores, works under supervision of a Store Manager II+ to manage daily operations (opening/closing, merchandising, deposits, inventory).
• Provides routine training and guidance to store employees.
• Accounts for stock and maintains inventory levels, anticipates sale items as needed.
• Calculates sales transactions and prepares bank deposits.
• Reviews and interprets computer printouts and makes recommendations to the Store Manager.
• Supervises and guides store personnel in their duties.
• Serves as Retail Salesperson when not assisting the Store Manager.
• Supervises all employees and may fill in for higher-level Store Manager for short periods.
• Occasionally travels to other stores for assignments.
• Criminal background and reference checks are conducted.
