Job summary

Festival Foods in West Allis, WI is seeking an Operations Manager to ensure smooth store operations, support Center Store and Fresh departments, and act as manager-on-duty. You will resolve guest concerns, oversee safety, and assist with evening close while maintaining store standards.

The role reports to the Store Director and requires a strong focus on merchandising, in-stock accuracy, and associate development.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven merchandising skills with ability to make timely decisions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with guests and associates.
• Strong organizational skills and learning of operation systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage a diverse crew.

Responsibilities

• Create a Positive Environment by fostering store culture for associates and guests.
• Adapt to the Day with quick decisions to meet in-stock and helpfulness priorities.
• Offer Helpful Guest Service to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
• Provide Leadership Support as manager-on-duty and assist with department operations.
• Develop Associates through coaching on best practices and safety.
• Meet Department Standards by monitoring sales floor and back stock.
• Communicate and Collaborate with Store Director and managers to exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure Food Safety and sanitation according to guidelines.
• Reduce Waste by asset protection and inventory management.
• Merchandise Product and maintain displays with freshness and appeal.
• Prioritize Safety and complete incident reports as needed.
