Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day store performance, customer service, and property maintenance. You will manage leasing processes, payments, reports, and ensure a high-standard customer experience at the self-storage facility.

The role emphasizes strong operational focus, everyday tasks, and collaboration with a team to meet sales and service goals. A valid driver's license and ability to work weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls for late payments.
• Managing invoice review/approval within the database.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and legal process of auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
• Daily property walks, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining facilities by cleaning, mopping, bulbs, and keeping restrooms neat.
