Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects and staffs the store in compliance with laws and policies.
• Trains employees, conducts performance evaluations and counseling.
• Recommends pay and advancement decisions.
• Communicates expectations; conducts safety and policy meetings.
• Staffing and opening/closing responsibilities; meet minimum store hours.
• Evaluates financial statements to spot trends and opportunities.
• Manages ordering and inventory to meet in-stock targets weekly.
• Stages and stocks merchandise per company processes.
• Ensures proper merchandising, pricing, and signage.
• Maintains accurate inventory; controls shrink and damages.
• Safeguards cash and assets; enforces cashier controls.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership.
• Keeps store clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Maintains necessary tools and follows SOPs and paperwork deadlines.
