Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Salisbury, MD to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales and profitability, and lead a team through effective merchandising, training, and service excellence.

You will manage expenses, inventory, schedule flexibility, and ensure high standards of customer care while following company policies across multiple stores in the district.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one (1) year in retail management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel to multiple stores within the district.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead by example to train and develop store personnel.
• Assist in recruitment, selection and onboarding of staff.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Help manage expenses and implement strategies to meet budget targets.
• Monitor shrink and loss prevention to keep within company plan.
• Support training in selling techniques and merchandising standards.
• Maintain customer service standards to provide outstanding service.
• Assist in merchandise counts and inventory accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
