Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership role to drive sales, oversee operations, and develop associates. The position emphasizes customer service excellence and adherence to Walmart’s values and integrity standards.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, managing staffing, budgeting, and implementing business initiatives while ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tour to teach, communicate, and collaborate with all levels to implement business solutions and guide change efforts.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures proper merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting a culture of belonging.
