Job summary

The position involves overseeing budgeting, merchandising, and daily store activities to meet sales goals while promoting Walmart’s values and policies. A proven background in retail supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring of associates; assigning duties; setting clear expectations.
• Communicates expectations and effectively promote a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Drives the store's financial performance by reviewing P&L and controlling expenses; ensures merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service standards and resolves customer issues; leads and communicates company initiatives.
