Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures; basic math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for appropriate solutions and/or counseling, up to and including termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinates meetings and events to encourage safety, security and policies.
• Ensures the store is adequately staffed and opened/closed correctly each day.
