Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Burlington, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will help drive sales, supervise staff in the manager's absence, and ensure policies and visual standards are followed.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires knowledge of product areas, inventory awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during peak periods while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear/apparel.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Take responsibility in Store Manager's absence and supervise staff.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers.
• Ensure inventory movement and customer trends are monitored.
• Uphold store policies and customer service standards.
